AICC 25th Anniversary Meeting - Miami, FL : The AICC will celebrating its 25th anniversary this year ! To mark this event, Boeing Flight Services is hosting this very special AICC meeting at its Miami training Campus .

Upcoming AICC Presentations: The AICC will be leading a breakout session at the European Aviation Training Symposium (EATS) in Prague. There will also be an AICC members meeting on the day before the start of EATS at the same venue. More details on the presentations and meeting agenda will be released as they become available. In addition to the presentations, the AICC will have an information booth in the exhibit hall where attendees can learn more about the mission of the organization and the benefits of membership. WATS Proceedings: The AICC hosted two presentations at the Worldwide Aviation Training Symposium (WATS) in Orlando, FL. Details of the two panel-discussions, "Unleashing the Power(Point)" and "Focus on Mobile and e-Learning for Air Carriers" are available at the "WATS Pilot Proceedings" link on the WATS Conference Website.
New Small Company Membership Level: The AICC announces a new membership level designed to encourage small companies and individuals to join the Committee. The new small company membership level applies to companies with 50 or fewer employees and costs $500 per year. This membership level provides all the rights and privileges as the corporate and airline company memberships including participating in standards and best practices development subcommittees, voting on Committee business, and holding executive office. AICC ANNOUNCES NEW STANDARD: The Aviation Industry CBT/eLearning Committee announces the start of development on the first major elearning data exchange specification. This specification will greatly expand on the widely used data exchange specifications from both the AICC and the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative’s SCORM specification, and adds the ability to integrate group learning activities, simulations and custom learner interfaces with learning management systems. The specification will supersede the existing AICC computer managed instruction specification and is scheduled for release in the first quarter.
