AICC Certifies Cyberwisdom’s wizBank
wizBank is China’s first AICC certified e-learning platform
Sugar City, Idaho USA - The announced today that Cyberwisdom’s wizBank 3.1 has been certified as compliant with its Web Based Computer Managed Instruction Systems (CMI) Guideline (AGR 010). This certification makes Cyberwisdom the first e-learning vendor in China to achieve this standard.
"An AICC compliant e-learning platform enables our customers to choose from thousands of high-quality, Web-based courses developed by global leaders in instructional design and courseware development", said Lewis Chan, co-founder and CEO of Cyberwisdom. "As an e-learning solution provider in Asia, we have long been advocating international e-learning standards in the region because we believe the success of the whole industry relies on vendors conforming to these standards to promote the interoperability of learning contents and the tracking of learning progress."
"With the China’s accession to the World Trade Organization, e-learning is seen as one of the key strategies to more cost-effectively upgrade our workforce to face the rapidly increasing global competition", Chan pointed out. "In order for China to be a true global player, it is important that we adopt well-established international standards rather than re-inventing the wheels ourselves in the country."
"The certification of wizBank marks another significant milestone for international acceptance of the AICC's guideline," said William A. McDonald, chairman of the AICC Independent Test Lab Committee. "With Cyberwisdom’s certification, AICC has extended its reach in to China which is likely to become the world’s largest e-learning market."
