AICC Certifies CentraOne 5.3

Centra’s Live Virtual Classroom Passes AICC Certification

Sugar City, Idaho USA – March 15, 2002 – The Aviation Industry CBT Committee announced this week that they have certified CentraOne as compliant with the AICC’s web-based CMI guidelines (AGR-010). This makes CentraOne the first live, virtual classroom application to be certified by the AICC

To gain AICC certification, CentraOne was subjected to a set of formal testing procedures. Through this process, the AICC has independently confirmed that Centra’s virtual classroom solution is interoperable with other eLearning technologies that support the AICC’s Web-based CMI guidelines. Using the AICC’s guidelines, Centra can integrate with 11 of the leading enterprise portal and learning management providers and can rapidly integrate with new systems that support this key industry standard.

"At Centra, we actively participate in industry standards initiatives so that we can incorporate these changes into our product lines," said Harvi Singh, Chief Learning Technology Officer of Centra. "Since standards are an iterative and evolutionary process, our products have been designed to evolve and adapt to changes, providing an open system architecture approach that will future proof the investments that our customers make in eLearning technologies."
