AICC Certifies CentraOne 5.3 Centras Live Virtual Classroom Passes AICC Certification Sugar City, Idaho USA March 15, 2002 The Aviation Industry CBT Committee announced this week that they have certified CentraOne as compliant with the AICCs web-based CMI guidelines (AGR-010). This makes CentraOne the first live, virtual classroom application to be certified by the AICC To gain AICC certification, CentraOne was subjected to a set of formal testing procedures. Through this process, the AICC has independently confirmed that Centras virtual classroom solution is interoperable with other eLearning technologies that support the AICCs Web-based CMI guidelines. Using the AICCs guidelines, Centra can integrate with 11 of the leading enterprise portal and learning management providers and can rapidly integrate with new systems that support this key industry standard. "At Centra, we actively participate in industry standards initiatives so that we can incorporate these changes into our product lines," said Harvi Singh, Chief Learning Technology Officer of Centra. "Since standards are an iterative and evolutionary process, our products have been designed to evolve and adapt to changes, providing an open system architecture approach that will future proof the investments that our customers make in eLearning technologies."
