Through a personalized view, individuals can access the training and knowledge resources they need for a specific role or function. Training can be planned in a variety of ways, and development plans can be created for individual users and groups of users. Solstra was co-developed by Futuremedia PLC and British Telecom, and has been successfully implemented in major e-learning initiatives at BT, Ford Motor Company and Glaxo Pharmaceuticals.

The certified Solstra 2000 as compliant with its Web Based Computer Managed Instruction Systems (CMI) Guideline (AGR 010).
